Staking and Harvesting

Users are able to stake their $CRB and harvest daily rewards in $CRB. There is no minimum amount for staking.

This is the most basic form of interaction with our ecosystem and allows you to harvest rewards manually every 24 hours or thereafter.

Rewards do not accumulate past the harvest period i.e. if a user skips a day, they skip a day of rewards too. Harvest rewards can be claimed once the 24h timer reaches zero.

$CRB rewards earned from harvesting are autostaked.

There was no pre-sale and no team allocation! $CRB is 100% community owned

CHAD the Autoharvester

Sometimes, life will get in the way of your daily $CRB harvest.

Introducing CHAD. Canary Harvest - Auto:Daily is a new member of the team that will take care of harvesting for you. He needs to be pre-funded with $CRB in order to harvest.

Deposit some $CRB, enable CHAD to wake him up and he will get to work watching the countdown timer for you. CHAD will attempt a harvest every 5-10 minutes.

Each time he succeeds at harvesting, CHAD will deduct a fee based on your staked amount. CHAD fees are set at 30% of the base rate harvest (i.e. 30% of 0.1% = 0.03%) for each harvest that CHAD does on your behalf. These fees will be split 80:20 for expenses and DAO Voting Participation rewards. More on fees here.

There are no fees for depositing or withdrawing $CRB from CHAD's balance or for enabling/disbling CHAD.

CHAD is great, and participants should use his services when needed but actively harvesting manually will always yield the best rewards.

Even if CHAD is enabled, you can still harvest manually!
