# Boosters

The base reward rate is currently set at 0.1% per day which works out as \~**44% APY.**

0.1% = 1.001 compounded over a year = 1.001^365 = 1.44025 = \~**44% APY.**

This rate will be reduced to 10-15% APY in the future to prevent too much inflation.

Users can also Auto-harvest using [CHAD](https://docs.canary-reborn.xyz/general/stake-and-harvest#chad-the-autoharvester)!

Every user will be able to boost their APY using a number of methods like charged Canary Reborn NFTs, reward coins, LP participation and holding NFTs from partner projects (there is more information on partner projects [here](https://docs.canary-reborn.xyz/general/boosters#partner-nfts)).

## Charged Reborn NFTs

[Canary Reborn NFTs](https://docs.canary-reborn.xyz/general/the-canary-reborn-nft) will need charging to maximise their potential! Apart from allowing a user to vote and earn voting participation rewards, a charged Canary Reborn NFT will offer a **3.5% staking boost**. You can stack this % by holding multiple charged Canary Reborn NFTs.

i.e. 10 x 3.5% = 35% **not** 1.035 x 1.035 x 1.035 etc

Charging lasts for 90 days and is a soulbound feature meaning if a charged NFT is traded it will be considered uncharged and will need charging again. There is a countdown timer on the Rewards page that shows you when the next expiration is. 

The fee for charging a Canary Reborn NFT after the charge expires is 250 $CRB or 500 HP. You can read more about Canary Reborn fees [here](https://docs.canary-reborn.xyz/general/fees).

The countdown timer displays the time remaining until your first NFT will run out of charge.

## Liquidity Pool (LP) Participation

As sufficient liquidity is of paramount importance, liquidity providers with **≥15%** of their $CRB in a liquidity pool will receive a 150% boost.

150% boost will be active if this condition is met. You will need to monitor your position if you want to keep the boost active.&#x20;

## Worked Example

In the example below, a user stakes 100,000 $CRB for a year, harvesting every day. They participate in the LP, hold 5 Reborn NFTs and a selection of partner NFTs. Whilst the base APY is 44% they are achieving 117% if they harvest perfectly and unstake at the end of the period. Each user will have a different outcome depending on their strategy, their harvest frequency and their bag of NFTs.
